Our Story
AMPLock began in 2001, when founder André returned for his RV and found only an empty lot and the broken pieces of a lock sold as "high-security." No stronger alternative existed, so he built the first custom-fit trailer lock from high-density materials. That design became the foundation of AMPLock.
Behind The Company
AMPLock is a division of AMP Drummond Inc., a family-owned CNC machining company in Drummondville, Québec, operating since 1992. For over 30 years, AMP Drummond has manufactured high-tolerance components for the aerospace, medical, and sensing industries. AMPLock applies that same aerospace-grade precision to heavy-duty locks for vehicles, powersports, and commercial property.
