Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy (MAP)
AMPLock wants to maintain the integrity of its products and brand. In order to do so, we implement the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) Policy as follows to all dealers/resellers of AMPLock products. This policy has been established to protect and support all dealers/resellers as well as customers of AMPLock.
MAP = Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (AMPLock retail price list)
The MAP policy works under these guidelines:
- Dealers/resellers of AMPLock may not advertise a price lower than the MAP price for each specific AMPLock product, but AMPLock does not establish a maximum advertised price;
- AMPLock dealers/resellers shall not list AMPLock products on any third-party website, such as Amazon, eBay or any others, without prior written consent from AMPLock. Note that AMPLock products can be sold on dealers'/resellers' websites/stores as long as the AMPLock MAP price policy is respected;
- AMPLock reserves the right to sell its own products directly to customers at MAP pricing and at TEMPORARY discount price for a strictly limited period of time. Such discount shall not impact the MAP pricing;
- AMPLock reserves the right to run promotions (such as Black Friday or Prime Day on Amazon, for example) on their products. The retail promotions may reduce the customer price below the MAP price (Minimum Advertised Price) for a few days ONLY. We recommend dealers/resellers share these promotions as a separate and limited discount of the MAP price during this period only. AMPLock dealers/resellers are authorized to advertise this short-time promotion on their platforms. AMPLock may also authorize independent promotions at their sole discretion;
- AMPLock reserves the right not to sell to any dealer/reseller found to be in violation of this policy. AMPLock will not be held responsible for enforcement of this policy or lack thereof.
